Apply for 2026-2027

Apply to CPE1 for September 2026. There are two different ways to apply, depending on your child’s grade.

Apply for Pre-K and Kindergarten

New York City Public Schools manages enrollment for pre-k and kindergarten. To apply, please go to www.myschools.nyc, or call 311.

Citywide, the application for all public school kindergarten opens on December 9 and closes January 22.

The application period for all public pre-K programs begins mid January.

Apply for Grades 1-5

If your child will be going into first, second, third, fourth, or fifth grade in September, please leave your contact information here.

Tour CPE1

The best way to learn more about CPE1 is to visit in person.

Tours happen in fall and winter. We have in-person tours in the morning and a Zoom tour in the evening. Check back in Fall 2026 to select a tour.
