Apply for 2026-2027

Apply to CPE1 for September 2026. There are two different ways to apply, depending on your child’s grade.

New York City Public Schools manages enrollment for pre-k and kindergarten. To apply, please go to www.myschools.nyc, or call 311.

Citywide, the application for all public school kindergarten opens on December 9 and closes January 23.

The application period for all public pre-K programs begins January 14 and ends February 27.

If your child will be going into first, second, third, fourth, or fifth grade in September, please leave your contact information here.

The best way to learn more about CPE1 is to visit in person.

Tours happen in fall and winter. We have in-person tours in the morning and a Zoom tour in the evening. Check back in Fall 2026 to select a tour.
